OK, you are new to cluster 7. You might already be a cluster 2 user, or you might be new to the lab.
getting in
- work with jjiteam at googlegroups dot com to set you an account.
- if you work on site, comply with all UCSF standards

how is it it organized
- we have types of machines, as follows
- login01, login02 - get in via these
- cpu01, cpu02, ... - these run jobs managed by slurm, but you may still want to login
- gpu01, gpu02, ... - these run GPU and CPU jobs managed by slurm, but you may still want to login
- home01, home02, ... - these machines hold home directories. use them for small tasks, not big ones
