Computer aided drug design (CADD) is an umbrella term that includes structure based ligand discovery, ligand based methods, traditional modeling, and probably other techniques that we just can't think of right now.

There is a Gordon Research Conference on CADD every two years. There are also sessions at the American Chemical Society national meetings on this topic. Another meeting we like is the OpenEye CUP meetings.
