Some software is both free and commercial, like Schrodinger's uninhibited yet profitable cat. This category, Freecom, is used to tag products that can be either free or commercial depending on who you are and/or how you use them. Often, the software is free or cheap for academics and full price for companies.

  • Chimera
  • PyMol
  • DOCK - DOCK is free to academics and for non-profit-making projects. For profits require a commercial DOCK license.
