This wiki contains information for both members of the lab as well as the general public. If you have arrived here, you have identified as not being a member of our lab. That's ok, there is still lots of ways we can help you. Many of our services and databases are available on the web.
Here is the model. We have software that runs on our website. We have software that you can download and run on your own computer. We also have software that can be run in the cloud.
All of our databases can be downloaded and hosted locally on your server. For example, ZINC20 and ZINC22. Our web interface to run software on our cluster is TLDR. Of course, since you are using our cluster, it won't be as fast as if you had it installed locally on your own system.
What can I not do if I am not a member of the lab
- You cannot ssh in to our computers (but we have lots of free public websites!)
- you cannot run software on the command line (but we have TLDR and other websites that allow you to run software on our hardware
- you cannot access various services that are private to UCSF and/or the lab
