OBSOLETE.
In addition to vendor-subsets and property subsets, there are two kinds of minisubset supported in ZINC: subsets you upload, and subsets you create from ZINC itself.
User-created subsets
You can create subsets using any criteria you use to search, using the "Create subset" button on the results browser of the ZINC search facility. Subsets are limited to 10,000 molecules, can require an hour to assemble, and persist on the server for a week only.
If you want a permanent subset, or a bigger subset, write to us to ask.
User-uploaded subsets
You can upload compounds to ZINC using the upload facility. If you do this, your compounds will be part of an "upload subset" for a week. You can upload a maximum of 1000 molecules in each transaction.
