<p><b>New page</b></p><div>I hold a BS degree in Pharmacy and MS and Ph.D. degrees in medicinal chemistry. My research in centered upon the discovery of small molecules that may be effective in the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Frontotemporal Dementia, Alzheimer disease and Parkinson's. Currently, we have discovered four molecules that have shown efficacy in nerve cell cultures and in mouse models of frontotemporal dementia. We are synthesizing derivatives of these compounds to study the structure-activity relationships.</div>Frodo
