SSH broken pipe error

When SSH'ing to gimel or any other host, there is an error that will prevent you from getting in that states: "Write failed: Broken pipe"

This error happens when you have too many concurrent processes linked to your name. The maximum limit of processes is 50. If you can, kill some of the processes that are associated with your user name. Otherwise, contact one of the sysadmins to kill some of your processes until you have less than 50. Then, try ssh'ing into the remote host again.
