ZINC15 is a work in progress. We will try to keep it working and efficient at all time as it continues to evolve.

Please see also ZINC15:current limitations for important information about things we know are not right.

Things that we know are slow, and we are working on

  • certain queries remain unacceptably slow, particularly structure search returning more than 1 M molecules. Tell us what does not work and we will try to help you find a workaround.

Things we know do not work, and we are working on

  • 2D tranche download. Saturday Sept 25.
  • 3D tranche download. Mon Sept 28.
  • 3D models for every molecule in ZINC.
  • no method to create "having" queries using the mouse/popups/menus.

Minor features for release before December 2015

  • /home pages for all resources
  • /examples pages for all resources

Major features for release before December 2015

  • batch mode for long running jobs (code name: celery)
