A virtual library is a collection of molecules used for virtual screening. The virtual library may be purchasasble, as is ZINC, it may be a proposed combinatorial library based on commercially available building blocks, or it may be entirely virtual, in the sense that the synthetic accessibility of its constituent molecules has not be assessed, or is suspected to not be easy.
