Retired academic with a medicinal chemistry background with over forty years experience of the pharmaceutical industry (R&D) in the UK and abroad. After retirement I am continuing my medicinal chemistry interests in parasitic diseases (malaria and T. cruzi); disorders of the CNS (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's diseases); the hormonal cancers, obesity, amyloidosis in general and, in addition, my interests in Natural Product chemistry and regulatory affairs in drug development.
