ADOBE FLASH/FIREFOX/LINUX ARE LIKE OIL AND WATER :)

To get adobe flash to work download the tar.gz file from: http://get.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/

  • Then extract the tar file.
  • Move the libflashplayer.so to the directories: ~/.mozilla/plugins , /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins , /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins-wrapped and /usr/lib/flash-plugin (just to be sure).
  • I only had to copy it to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, so I would start there. But you may have to copy it to all the other places also.
  • Restart firefox
