Isha Singh is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in Shoichet lab, University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In December 2016, she received her Ph.D. from Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis studying unnatural base pairs in DNA and studying protein-DNA structures using X-ray crystallography under the guidance of Dr. Millie M. Georgiadis. Her current research as postdoctoral fellow focuses on the use of protein crystallography and enzymology to test predictions emerging from large scale docking against AmpC beta-lactamase and application of docking screens against biologically relevant target like GPCR for discovery of novel molecules.
